Perkedel Kentang / Potato Cake

Ingredients :
500 Grams of potatoes, you can mix it with sweet potato 70/30
stalk of small celery, finely chop
Chrispy Shallots from 5 cloves of shallots
4 cloves of garlic paste
salt to taste
neutral oil to fry
an egg - beaten / VEGAN OPTION to do the batter with all purpose flour and bread crumbs
HOW TO :
Cut the potatoes into small quarters and fry it until it cook but not chrisphy so its easy to mash
add the finely chopped celery, chrispy shallots, garlic paste and salt to taste
gather all the potato mixtures into a ball, then shape each into a patty shapes
coat each patty with the beaten egg, then gently put it into hot oil and deep fry until golden brown
